Reasons to have a handshake

So in one of my RL gsmes ive been told by the GM tyjhat at some point i will recieve a signal. Upon that signal my character will be replaced with a demon doppleganger and my character will be lost on their own somewhere.

During this time i am to play the demon and try to shake the hands of the other characters. I can;t force it they have to do it willingly.

So how do i do this? got a few ideas but not sure on exactly how to play it. just seems a wierid thing to try and get done out of the blue. Don;t want to disapoint the GM so here i am crowds ourceing ideas.

Re: Reasons to have a handshake

Is this the right forum for that question? I am not sure.

Anyhoots, just prop out the hand? At least in RL(non game sessions I mean talking to people) it seems, obligated to return a hand shake. I have been told though, that in games it is something often ignored?

Re: Reasons to have a handshake

I don't think I've had an RL game yet where my character hasn't shook someone's hand, but that might be 'cause I play wheeler dealers a lot. I tend to be pretty heavy on the "So, deal?" and stick out my arm thing. Just try and get them into something like that.
