Solution for image hosting

Hi, I am a newbie, and I am wondering what other RPOL'ers use to host images so that they can link to them in their posts? Is there a free website host that people use?

Eggy:
I like deviantart.

deviantart can be picky about people posting art that isn't their own. It does however allow adult images.

Photobucket works but doesn't allow anything too risqué.

Both are free and easy to use. Myself I use both depending on what the image is.

Re: Solution for image hosting

Photobucket mainly though I was using imgur but it's easy to hit your limit where you can't see all your photos on there.  Photobucket can be a bit annoying with ads but the best I've found so far.

Try tinypic.com, that is who I use. Pretty simple and free to use.

Imgur. I've never run out of space, and it doesn't care about the content of the photos.

Re: Solution for image hosting

Something a lot of people miss: usually your ISP gives you a bit of web space along with your account.  It's usually pretty easy to use, often with a web interface for uploads.

Re: Solution for image hosting

I go with Imgur. I've got one folder of RPoL portraits I like for when I brainstorm characters.

In reply to eternaldarkness (msg # 9):

Really?  Well, every time I go on Imgur I get told Only 225 images in your account are visible, and that's of the 251 on there.  I have about half that on Photobucket and it says I've used like 2 or 3 percent of my space.  So, clearly Imgur has some restrictions as it wants you to go to the Imgur pro to be able to see all of what you have on there.  It will let me upload more but then I just can't see them all.?!?  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I believe that as long as you pit them in albums you can access them properly. I've got one of just 100 pictures of owls but the other albums all show without problems.

Re: Solution for image hosting

Huh, I'll have to check because I have them in albums but I still get that same message over top, even when I'm in an album.  Maybe it just means as a whole.  It's been so long since I added stuff and went over that I don't remember what stuff I may not be seeing.
