How do I check the player's wanted tag?

I can't find the tag, but I'm being told to check it, what do I do?

In reply to gooeylouie (msg # 1):

In your game, go to GM Menu, then Edit Game Details. There is a toggle for Requesting New Players.

It only gave me the option to keep it off, there is no "on" option

It may be the same thing Shannara said in your other thread. You might need to have a little more in the game thread wise before it will work.

In reply to gooeylouie (msg # 3):

You can request players without a Game Intro, but not without a post. Make your first thread.

Other threads in your game? You'll be able to see them all. You're the GM.

If you mean other threads that you've created in the areas like Community Chat, you can search for them. Near the bottom left of the screen when you're browsing Community Chat, you'll see Search. Put in your username in the field and click Poster, then search.

But you'll need to make a thread in your game before you can advertise for it. Making one here doesn't count.

Anything else?

Just thought I would let you know... your game is now listed in "Wanted: Players" and showing as "Players Wanted." So you have it properly sorted, I would suggest you add a few more threads in your game such as a "Request to Join" thread with details that prospective characters might want for character creation.

And as someone suggested in one of your threads here, you might be better to play in a game for a little while.  At least you would learn how things work from a player's PoV, which would make it easier to learn the GM side.

Re: How do I check the player's wanted tag?

You also might have more luck getting interested players if you post more about the setting (get people really excited to play in it), the rules (things that wouldn't be covered in a rulebook; your expected posting rate, for example) and a character profile template you want filled out.  The last one in particular is for many people essential since just saying 'give me a character' doesn't really cover how much detail you want your players to provide.
