Despite a direct appeal to both governments from Baron Kwanti d'Orien from the house enclave in Passage, Aundair, neither side would agree to a neutral meeting site for negotiations to rebuild the White Arch Bridge which spanned Scions Sound until its destruction in 928YK during the Last War. At this point, it appears further negotiations on its rebuilding will not be forthcoming.
"Darguun raiders attack New Cyre settlement in eastern Breland"
Bugbear warriors bearing the banner of the Kalkor clan in western Darguun swarmed out of the Seawall Mountains and attacked the town of New Cyre, killing 16 and wounding dozens before they were driven off. Prince Oargev, last remaining Wynarn in the Cyre line, called on King Boranel and the Brelish military to provide additional troops to protect the Cyran refuges who have flocked to the settlement since the Day of Mourning.
"Iron Council to meet next week, multiple clans demanding Karrnathi war debt be called in; government of Karrnath cries foul"
Clan leaders of Doldarun, Laranek and Soldorak are calling for a vote during the annual Iron Council assembly next week which would require immediate repayment of Karrnath's war debt. The three clans claim that Karrnath has not met its recent interest payment obligations and is currently in a state of default. Speaking on behalf of her nephew, Karrnathi regent Moranna ir'Wynarn accuses the dwarven clans of provoking her government and warns of swift reprisals if the vote goes against Karrnath.

Farmers across central Khorvaire report that mild winter conditions and the early arrival of warmer spring weather appears to be helping them with better crop harvests. If the favorable weather continues through the summer, fall crop harvests could be equally abundant.
