Re: Build a game Workshop!

Show: Warehouse 13
Book: Game of Thrones - A Storm of Swords
Game: I haven't played anything recently, but I'm currently reading Dungeons and Dragons 5e

Anything that comes out of the combination of the above is bound to be a cliche.

So, set against the backdrop of interstellar war, a small group tries to survive the horrors of genocide genocide while battling the ultimate evil?  Sounds like all kids of dark to me.

In 1870 a group of Chosen must fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness. The backdrop is Paris and surrounding countryside where an all-out zombie outbreak is threatening to break through the Prussian containment and spread to all of Europe.

Basic idea of the game: A new Shard of the Exalted Dream where the people of modern day Earth are dumped into Exalted's creation from before humanity was created and are poised to begin the Primordial War thousands of years early.

Re: Build a game Workshop!

Show: defiance
Book: Inversions by Iain M Banks
Game: oWoD crossover

......... Um yah. Supernaturals, aliens, old retired war vets, complatly off the wall insane men, and self aware flying murdurus robot knives in a post apopaliptic future from a failed attempt at alien taraforming.

0.o.

Yah I would play that.

Edit: oh any game thought you men table top lol

Game: Fallen London

That makes things way way way more interesting.  That combines darn near everything

Defiance - alien, western kind of feel, post apocalyptic, taraformed earth, overpowering government
The culture - high tech, hedonistic, anything goes kinda tech, self aware robots, machines smarter than people, all sorts of heavy heavy scifi
Fallen London- steampunk, hedonistic vs church vs high society vs eft eft lol huge political powder keg, daemons, monsters, underground, cuthlian horrors,

Could go on and on lol
