Confused but staying put

Tonight I learned something that has caused me to leave the site. I did have fun here and had wished to use this site to help with my healing process. So I wanted to say farewell to those friends I have made and sadly cannot tell you each what you meant to me. I have not the ability to do so as I can't seen rmail or PM to you. I'll remember you all and thank you.

Sorry if this was in the wrong area of the site wasn't sure where to put it. So to my firends I say farewell.

Thank you. Sincerely as always

Emma Riddle

Re: Leaving the site

Just trying to find out where this happened. So far all the games I run or am a GM of show the age statement as the one on your birth certificate. I should know it being I gave birth to you. Waiting on a few PM's now.

Re: Leaving the site

I've sent rmail to all I can think of the names of. All I can do. Sad I can't even access one of my own games in which nothing adult is in it and I can't change it back to Mature. Don't even know what to do anymore.

I don't know what's happening, but perhaps we can still fix this.  Don't give up yet.

Re: Leaving the site

Sounds like something to discuss with a mod?

Re: Leaving the site

I don't understand. Emma, you haven't been banned so are free to continue to use the site should you choose. There may be external factors affecting your ability or desire to use rpol, but the site itself is not preventing your usage.

If there are personal details involved then I don't wish to know them, but if there is a reason that makes you feel that you cannot continue, such as cyber-bullying, then discuss it with the mods before making any decision. They are very hot on that kind of thing here and will investigate any allegation of abuse.

Use the rmail facility to speak to the mods and discuss any issues.

Re: Leaving the site

I hope it's not cyber-bullying. I do suspect something but can't prove it. It is well known Emma is my daughter. She came here to the site to RP with me and her stepmother. Along the way she's made a lot of friends. She's now just trying to figure out what the mistake was. In all she's going to stay playing Mature games only. Something about till subscription on the problem. Sadly for my family that is something we cannot do. One we don't use paypal. Two we just don't have the funds to subscribe. Just to have access to adult I wouldn't do it anyway. If I had the money I would gladly pay to play here. I don't. But I wouldn't do it just to have access to certain games.

This will affect me as well. A lot of changes coming as a result including switching some games around. I just want to be able to play with my daughter. So I'll be doing Mature games now more.

Re: Leaving the site

Whats this about having to pay to run adult games?

panicking, because all my games are adult, and there played more sub-mature.

Re: Leaving the site

Relax. Subscriptions are a distant possibility that jase and the mods have repeatedly assured people won't happen in the near future due at least in part with people not being able to pay.

Re: Leaving the site

Think my mom just worded it wrong. Honestly I understand what happened and will accept it. Just confused really. Though that on cruelty is still sadly true. Not going into details as some personal issues there but what was said was callous and uncalled for.

I don't know on cyber-bullying. From the time I've been on site though I've seen a lot of stuff that really I don't like. I know myself I wouldn't stand for bullying. I dealt with that in high school and it kept me and my wife from dating back then cause of how people at our high school treated lesbians. I'm an adult now and just won't tolerate that. If that happened.....I would go to the mods immediately with it. It's not needed anywhere. Especially on a site where the goal is to have fun.

If it happens in a public forum, then we will gladly deal with it.  If, however, it happens in a game, then it's an in-game interpersonal issue, and needs to be sorted out between you and the GM.

Subscriptions have been a long-term goal of the site, which is gradually getting nearer as details are hammered out.

Turn your add blocker off then?

I am sorry to hear of anyone leaving the site. Good luck Emma, I did not know you but I wish you well.
