While I was a college student back in the late 80s, early 90s I hung out at a rpg/comic store. One game that caught my eye but never made it onto my bookshelf sci-fi game who's name eludes me to this day.
I think there were 2-3 books all in A5 format. It was possibly called Dominion or Domain or something similar then again maybe not). I remember the system being quite simple with maybe 4-5 attributes and several alien races to choose from (the most memorable being some sort of lava/rock man). Besides that i know nothing of the writer or publisher.
if anyone has and ideas or even knows where I can get hold of a copy I would be very grateful.

Re: Looking for the name of an obscure sci-fi game.
Do you remember anything about the setting? Near Earth, future Earth, alternate reality, anything? I was big into sci fi rpgs back then, I might recognize it if you told me more.

In reply to Evil Empryss (msg # 2):
Sci-Fi is all i remember for sure. It may have been restricted to our solar system, though maybe not.. Vague I know, but this is the problem I have.

Re: Looking for the name of an obscure sci-fi game.
I leafed through my old White Dwarfs (this was before the magazine became exclusively Warhammer) and Dragons from the late 80's early 90's, but couldn't see anything with a name similar to Dominion/Domain in the advertisements.
