Bahh, they're going to change his "birthday" every 5 years to coincide with comic con. Its not that they really changed his birthday, its just when they are celebrating it.

Kinda like if someone had a birthday on Christmas, they might celebrate their birthday party before or after. They can't really change when the comic was released.
