Simple Paypal Question

I need to get money from my Bank Account into my Paypal account and I cannot figure out how to do so. I have tried to contact Paypal and use the forums but it is taking a while. Anyone here done this before?

Re: Simple Paypal Question

You need your bank routing number and your bank account number.  They're both on checks, if you have some.  Otherwise, you can probably find your bank's routing number online, and your account number is listed at the top of your statements (so log in to your bank's website, look for statements/messages, find the pdf for your last statement and look at the top for the account number for the account you want to transfer from.

Then go enter it in at the Paypal website -- make sure and certain that you typed in the address yourself and didn't click on any link in an email.

Edit: Ok, I see the Paypal website is very user-unfriendly right now, tons of adds and pushes to get you to dd the Paypal app to your phone.  Go to https://www.paypal.com/al/cgi-...ConsumerLink-outside and click the "Get Verified Today" yellow button on the picture.  After you log in, it'll take you to https://www.paypal.com/webapps...dBank?execution=e4s1 where you can choose your bank.  It'll then ask you for the routing and account number, and you'll be able to pull money from your bank account.

Make sure that you know how much is actually in your bank account -- Paypal won't check that for you.  Sometimes what you see listed as the available money in your bank account won't be accurate, because you'll have a payment that's being processed in the background and hasn't yet been applied to your account, or maybe the merchant where you ran your credit card hasn't yet sent that information to your bank to be processed.  It can take 5 business days, sometimes, for everything to clear.  So make sure to look back through your list of previous transactions on your bank's website and make sure it displays all the transactions you've made recently.
