Lunar eclipse

Will be total if you're in the right spot, in less than 30 minutes.

Worth noting for those who are still awake!

Re: Lunar eclipse

It is quite spectacular, though it looks a bit more rose colored rather than red.

Re: Lunar eclipse

It was reddest in the middle.  In the beginning, it was just a black shadow moving across, then the moon went redder, then redder, but the top right spot then the bottom right spot remained white from my perspective, on the West of the US.

Re: Lunar eclipse

Once again it was cloudy.  I'm either asleep or it is cloudy during these.

Re: Lunar eclipse

From my mountain-top Pacific-coast perspective, it was amazing.  Not a "full" lunar eclipse, there was always at least maybe 3% that wasn't in strict darkness, but still amazing.

Re: Lunar eclipse

We've got a lovely orange moon rising in Texas at he moment.   It's not the same but it's quite pretty.    :)
