RIP Ultimate Warrior

Looks like we've lost the Ultimate Warrior born James Brian Hellwig.

I'm just the Harbinger of Doom this week, and it's only Tuesday.

Re: RIP Ultimate Warrior

I was deeply shocked when I first heard the news. He was on Monday Night Raw last Monday 4/7/2014 and looked healthy and fit. To suddenly pass like that sucks and I give my condolences to his family.

Re: RIP Ultimate Warrior

One of my favorites from the Hogan era. I still remember a painting I did in art class of their match at WM VI. Shocked to hear as he looked great at Wrestlemania. He surely will be missed and my prayers go out to his family.

Re: RIP Ultimate Warrior

I remember his first big break in Memphis. He was half of The Blade Runners as Blade Runner Rock. His partner would go on to become Sting.
After Memphis, Hellwig went to Dallas to World Class Championship Wrestling where he became The Dingo Warrior until 1987.

After that, he went to the WWF and became The Ultimate Warrior.

Re: RIP Ultimate Warrior

Thought it was nice when him and Sting won the World Titles around the same time. Large painting of that moment somewhere. I liked him in World Class also. Too bad WCW couldn't do more with him though.
