Re: OOC IV

I paused the round, mostly for Sylviel's benefit--the mind flayers are both out of range of the spell you intended to cast (bane). Let me know what you want to do, Sylviel.

Everyone else, hold tight.

Re: OOC IV

Sorry, I'd been left with the impression they had advanced to within 30ft?

Can I advance far enough TO get in range for the spell or how far are they out at this point?

Per my last post, the first one is 65 feet away, and the second is 90 feet away.

How wide is the tunnel we are in?  Can I seal us off from it to buy us some time?

If the Farie Fire connects, I get to roll with advantage as Jinx goes first.

I'm waiting for Lorrain to post his actions before I proceed. Hopefully, he'll post this weekend.

Re: OOC IV

Working on a post now. So earlier this week there was a shooting of three police officers by an inmate they were taking to get treatment at another hospital so things have been a bit crazy at the hospital where I work. Like...I just...have no words...

I'm so sorry.

I don't work in a hospital, but I do provide crisis services at a walk-in clinic. I very much get it. Please take all the time you need.

Re: OOC IV

It's just one of those things that I just...struggle wrapping my head around...like what purpose does it serve? The only good that I can see that comes from it is that PD and Corrections can coordinate and come up with better protocol to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again.

Re: OOC IV

Metagaming.

It does nothing for my already messed up build from a powergaming standpoint, as I'm sitting on an Int of 10 right now, but I think next level I'm taking Resilient: Intelligence

I don't want to be relying on Favored By the Gods for my Int saves against these things. Having the half feat do nothing hurts, but it hurts a lot less than a +0 to Int Saves.

Everybody hug the Paladin once she hits level 6.

Re: OOC IV

Sylviel does not approve of being hugged. Not when she failed her own int save and is currently tanking through the migraine pain lol.

Re: OOC IV

In reply to Rissa Twiceborn (msg # 138):

I don't know what your build looks like overall, but there are also a lot of feats that give a +1 Int and give other benefits. So you could spend a second feat to turn that 11 Int into 12 Int and maybe get something useful out of it.

Re: OOC IV

FYI, you already have two or three people on watch at any given time.

First Shift: Lucien & Rissa & Lorrain
Second Shift: Lucien & Lorrain
Third Shift: Lathan & Snagger & Sylviel
Fourth Shift: Lathan & Jinx & Alisandra
