Vampires,  Vampires!

OOC: I am sorry, but I no longer understand what is going here.
- How many boxes are making noise?
- Why isn't Marlena locking the boxes? Does it take a long time? Can she only lock one at a time?
- We are ready to go and have been so for a while, but we were waiting for Marlena to lock ALL the boxes. If that cannot be done, we would have liked to know that so we could have moved on. But maybe it can be done, but we are just waiting for it ... or what? What is happening?

sorry I have been rather distracted by work and various illnesses in my house.

Marlena was told not to lock the box with the scratching.  I does cost her some fatigue to secure them, but she has about 8 of them done- leavi g three plus thenoisy one.

Vampires,  Vampires!

OOC: First off: It sounds like you may have a bit much on your plate right now. If you feel overloaded, I am sure we all will understand if we had to shut down the game for a few months. In my experience, tanking on when one shouldn't just leads to burnout - which could mean a permanent end to the game.
We could also shut down a few groups (not the best solution) or combine a few. Right now we have some NPC's in our group and I could imagine it was the same in other groups too. So get if we got rid of the NPC's and divided the PC's over a few groups, that should give you more time as well.

And in regards the in-game part of the post: I interpret this as meaning that we should attack RIGHT now then? Am I correct in assuming, that Marlena won't lock another box? If so, Balir opens the box the group stands in front of.

Balir nods at Hannatti. "Good," he just says, and quickly moves on to the next box that isn't locked, looks at his companions to ensure they are ready (with stakes, spells, and arrows) and then opens the next box when he is sure they are.

While Balir is shuffling around to the far side of an unlocked coffin Hannatti removes the head of the immobilised little vampire with her silvered sword.
(If the beheaded little vampitre then crumbles to dust she will recover the stake.)

Balir, too, swings for the heart of the vampire - right as he removes the lid, and creature is still in the box.

OOC: Using specifically made wooden picks (aka picks stake or stake-picks) Balir hits (with 6 to spare) the heart for 12 impaling damage (some penalties may apply)
08:20, Today: Balir Ironhide rolled 8 using 3d6.  stake-pick at heart (vitals -3) (14 target).
