 Heather yelled down, " That is perfect thank you. Just remember no alcohol for me." Heather sighed deeply, her hip was killing her, but the shots and ice helped. Once she came down from the high of the game the pain always got worse before it got better again.

 Heather was about to send out a tweet about how she was doing but then thought oh shoot what is she allowed to say, but she wanted to let everyone know on social media she was ok, with a game time decision on her status, at least that's how Heather took her talk with the trainers.  Heather didn't know who to call or text about this, so she decided to text Coach Simms first. " Coach Simms Heather here, what am I allowed to say on social media, I just want to let everyone know I am ok and from what the trainers told me they will decide on Sunday how much the hip can do. Also, I really hope they suspend him for a long time Coach, I just saw the breakdown of the hit. I will see you after treatment coach for meetings."

Sims  answered  back....all you say is that you are working with the trainers and have an appointment tomorrow...and we'll see how the rest of the week goes"..that way you give false  hope to fans...nad you do inflate  egos of the haters..tomorrow is an off  day..but you have to come in at 6:00am  for the doc to check you out..the the rest of the day is yours.

 Heather texted back smiling, " Thank you Coach got it. Ok be in at 6am to see the Doc and then trainer at 8 am then I am done Coach."

 Heather then went on her social media account and sent out: "I am working with the trainers and have an appointment tomorrow, and we'll see how the rest of the week goes."

 It was just half time was Just Half  time, with the Chargers leading the  Broncos  20 -7. Adam frowned, seems like they  were in a  dead heat race with the Chargers , to get homefield advantage.

 Pouring himself a large Glass of chocolate Milk and grabbing a Lunch cake from the bowl on the counter..he sat down, Just as his Presser popped up, with the  Hosts, saying..I haven't seen a Guy  speak out like this  before..and I'm glad i am seeing it now... I tried to impress upon, My teams , the need  for honesty

The woman at the  table said,It will be interesting  to see how this pans out...

 the  Jock , a retired Safety from Houston added,we're going to show  various  clips  from the Hit  with a split screen of Bronk speaking to the media...we have  all seen these clips here..now   our  listeners  will see them as well...

  Adam shook his head  as he watched the replay..as bad  as it looked in real time, it was worse when they  slowed it down, There was No attempt by stokes  to 'Block a dragon' from getting to the football..or even protect  the  Colts  who were trying to get the ball..his eye and head were aimed  at Heather as he launched himself.

Ben got himself a beer and joined Adam in front of the TV.

  He shakes his head  as  he turns the   stations and stops of NFL station.The woman there was furious  as she listened  to Adam's  Press release  on if.... as she went on about  'he's absolutely right"..Adam  leaned  slight towards Ben..

 Coach Sent me to be the executioner...Something he could really do himself in a presser...noqw?  when he calls, if he didn't already, He and the Commish are going to have a long talk... . Mr Amota is going to  Atlanta tomorrow  for an owners meeting...you know damn well he'll bring it up there....and? you know he'll be fought or shouted down...

 Pointing  at the screen,but this here?...not a damn thing anyone can do about it. Adam slept in,  waking up at 6:00. cleaning up, He Called the  PR folks to see if there was anything he needed to do, they told  him to expect Reporters to  ambush him after the Hospital visit.

  He worn a  'Dragons' T-shirt on the  front was a mean looking  Jackie  running with a  football, On the  back is a Pick of a cartoon dragon swooping down on little  football players who had pitchforks and torches.

 Rubbing his eyes  as he took a sip of his  cup of coffee and waited for the toast to pop.

TV had  early morning show..they were still showing  Heather's  Hit. A bit of  disgust  and a small shake of his head as as the people  in the  studio complained  about the Hit. One  guy said,

The Woman who housed the   round table  shot back, " maybe not?... Unless we looked  at the replays , like we look at this one?..This wasn't  a hit..it was an Assassination attempt..."

 the  last man on the  4 person crew was an ex-Lineman..he  waved his hand, " The NFL would do something about it, or they won't... want folks  aren't looking at , is the  Dragons clinched thier  division..staying a Game  ahead of the Chargers, for that Home filed advantage..a few other teams clinched as well..but..and I am one of them...Can anyone here..or around the country, say they thought the dragons  would not only have  won the division..but be undefeated?...  Heather took her meds at 10 pm and waited a little bit before her and Nat went to bed. She got up very early, got showered and dressed and kissed the sleeping Nat goodbye as she headed to the Facility to see the Doc at 6 am and the trainer at 8 am. Heather took her meds in the morning as well.

  Adam   started to each one of his two slices of toast  with his coffee...butter and  Grape  jelly on it.

    gonna got see the kids at the Hospital.. Lissy is going with her Dad. Its good for the kids to se her there. She is a real trooper   for . .what? 6 years old? Anyway, taking a couple footballs with me for  the auctions. Yuto  had some  new Dragon's T-shirts printed up with Jackie the Dragon on, we're Giving out a bunch to the kids and thier paraents, and the Hospital staff. Then? I dunno..stop at the Cpmples  see if Coach Fry has my disc ready,, and then..either   hand out here, or go to the studio..I have to check my e-mails.

"I think I'll go for a swim, then call in on the PR people to see if there's anything that needs doing. Lu-Ti is out-of-town until late, but wants me to fetch her from the airport and feed her. Guess I'd better get some food in. Will you be in this evening? And is there anything you need from the market?"

Ben grinned.

"Don't tell me: chocolate milk!"

  Adam grinned  and pointed  at Ben as he mentioned the Milk.Tell you what?..When  Lu-Ti comes in, I'll go to the studio then, give you guys  some alone  time in a  safe place with no fans or Press...

 see if you can find  some  Snack cakes  with Chocolate and creme  filling...us humming bird  types need the energy!

 He went to the  sink washed his  small plate and  cleaned his coffee  cup...I'm Gonna go  now, help unload the Van at the Hospital... Yuto sent a text warning about  reporters  trying to snipe some comments  about what happened to heather... they'll be all over this  until Thursday or friday..

   Adam  came in, took a shower,  dressed in black  cargos, with his  white sneakers and a  Dragon Green Polo shirt. Opening a Can of Soda, he  sat  down  put  the disc into his  Lap top and the  video  popped up on the screen..he had  2 hours before he would have to leave  for the party...  He  pulled a Note book from his back pack that said 'Titans"

  skimmign through his notes, he  began to watch the  film..stopping and starting. takinga  note on foot placement, hip turn, and eye disapline..

  about  10 minutes into the  Vids, he begam to smile...... as he went on he began to laugh

 Heather drove home in her new car and parked carefully as close as she could get to her front door. Heather went inside and did everything she was told to do, with exercises, the tens unit and medication they gave her. She would relax and take it very easy for the rest of the day. Then she would with Nat's help take a shower and then get dressed for the party. Heather was not dressing up; she got a good pair of looser jeans and a Dragons T-shirt.

 Heather would relax and wait till it was time to go to the party and show herself to the fans.

Ben came home via the market where he stocked up on food for dinner, plus chocolate milk and cream cakes for Adam. He wrestled his shopping in and put it away, arranging some of the cakes on a plate and bringing them to Adam.

"Those the Titan films? What have you spotted so far?" he asked his friend.

  Adam smiled as he took a cake, well?  snice the last time we played  them..that safety that  pushed  Lissy  Dragon down?..he  'got hurt"..I don't think he's hurt, I think they lied to get him on IR to keep him out of the spotlight until next year.

 He took a bit of  a cake  and then  pointed  at the screen with the hand that held the cake,The Last couple weeks, they have been Mixing up coverages on  long yardage..they have been using a single Safety. with  an extra Corner Back?, thinking it  gives them more coverage  speed? I mean?..it might..but not against us.


 they also use  three   safeties,  trying to take away the  deep shots?.. but then they have  to decide on  3 or  4  D-line?..if they use  4..that means  only  two LBs..and  we can  do hooks and curls in the Middle  all dat... 7 -8 yards a pop, plus, what we make on the run....

 If they Blitz, and  Duke sees it.. we could tear of  chunks of  yards, 20 or more at a  time, and If a Safety misses you? it should be all over... Me and the other wideo9uts  can keep the  corners on  the sidlines?...when we  run dragon crosses? it will come  down to who Blitz's  and the  guy coming the opposite  way will have a free run, if Duke  can lead him with the ball.

"Sounds good," said Ben, looking at the screen as Adam talked.

"How would you mount a defence against us?"

Ben reckoned Adam would make an excellent coach provided an owner would put up with his outspokenness, or a TV pundit (where his big mouth would probably be an asset).

   Adam shook his head,You would have to 'build' a team to stop us, I haven't seen anyone yet that  has  all the tools?

  1st? Duke and Steele? they aren't going anywhere.. You have to Blits  them and Hit them, even if you get flagged once in a while, you have to let them know you'er goung to hit them


 Kaly and White could be a damn good pair of Running back, but  we don't  run?, They  could drop LBs  off into coverage, take  us  away, and make  Duke  go deep with safeties heling the corners?,  But Duke  would just hit the backs in the flats, or  let them run more.... we have a damn good O-line, and the great part?  they  don't  mind  pass  blocking, some o-line whine and cry about that...  Coach Hand Picked those  guys from FA list..there are alot 'better'  guys out there...but none who  will do what's needed,,,

 what hurt the NFL?.. we played  damn good games  in Snow and rain, never changed a thing, or at least it looks like we haven't..and  some of them go into a shell, at the first  sight of a snow flake...

 now?  even if they stopped us?  they have to try to score on the defense.... Our D gives up points, but its  'law of averages"..we score  so fast andso often, they have to   come right back out... Coach   subs in players  like a Chinese  fire Drill keeps  every one fresh, and every one works hard through the week, ;cause they know  they'll be playing... Now  all teams  can do that  with the over inflated Egos..... those Running back   at the top of  the list..they don't want to sit down, unless they are getting thier butts kicked......and through it all You  Got Coach Cal sending in  Blitzs  almost every play.

  depending on  thier Mindset? we could lose coaches to other teams  this off season..and they  drill those guys  for  every secret they can get...the thing is?  can you get the same types of players  we have...to run the  same kind of scheme  we do?.... we had some  guys  who flat out hated the way we played....they aren't here any more...


 So , Me...you..Smothy, Salls , Machins and even Wills are goig to get poundedthis week... look for your  back ups to get a few more reps in too.. this is crunch  time for the season,  Coach will try to protect us as much as he can, without  just 'coasting".... The first time i played  against Coach Sims?..he  Pulled a DB off the field, because the guy slowed tom a jog when our  QB looked away from me.... the guy never got back into the game...Coach doesn't Coast

Ben giggled.

"Well, I hate the cold... but reckoned that running about was the best way to get warm!"

He got up.

"I promised Lu-Ti a dinner when she got in from wherever her business trip has taken her. Are you around tonight? I'm going to make a meat loaf, seeing as she wasn't sure when she'd arrive. That can be heated and served whenever she wants and there will be plenty for you if you'd like it."

      he looked at the  clock on the wall...Depends?.... If she makes it  for 6:00 or 7?..other then that, I'll be heading to the party for 8...

 He grins,if there is leftovers, I'll have a meatloaf  sandwich before bed!
