First up, for players without the rulebooks:
Here is a link to the Wizards of the Coast website where you can download or view sections of the Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition
Player's Handbook,
Dungeon Master's Guide,
Monster Manual.
There is also
Psionic Information, too (Psionics are only allowed for PC use in Realms of Adventure in the Psionics "bubble region" - a bubble region is one that uses rules not allowed in a standard RoA region).
Keep one thing in mind: The d20 System Reference Document is not complete, but it gives you all the rules needed to play a standard d20 fantasy-based game.
The information is free, thanks to WoTC.

P.S. You will have to copy and paste this one but its worth it :)
Sometimes it's difficult to understand some words. So, when this happens...
Merriam-Webster Online. A great English dictionary!

By DM Ordon:
Okay.. If you want a real ROTFLMAO story, this is one of the best I've seen about 1st edition Munchkinism. If I had the time, I would probably like to make a funny story like this about some of the 3rd edition exploits and monster characters...
http://pw1.netcom.com/~rogermw/ADnD/IUDC1.html
Go to the author's homepage and he actually lists some of the references used for the sayings/items in the story.. from cartoons and shows of the 80's. The refererence were really neat because I remember some of those old shows and the items/sayings from them... He-Man, She-Ra, Knight Rider, etc. I guess I'm getting old. Anyway check it out if you need a good laugh. :)
I use this to quickly find the source for most monsters

I also like to use PlayerGenie. It starts with a free 30 use trial period. After that, you have to buy the license.

How about
http://www.giantitp.com?
It's a pretty good site with very funny D&D comics, but more importantly is about and run by a game designer, and has some interesting articles. He is a known contributer to the magazine Dragon and is involved in creating the MM3. In short, pretty gamer-oriented. But that's just a side benefit compared to the comics.
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/feats
http://www.systemreferencedocu...elior_sage/home.html
The formating of it is great, thought it's only another copy of 3.5 SRD.
Another SRD, but it has some of the other books and more PrC's in it.

http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
The Forgotten Realms wiki is having an improvement drive! Through special arrangement with DM Mike players will be given Player Reward XPs for articles (out of my own fund of DM XPs no less).
So if you know anything about wikis and the world of the Forgotten Realms, then come help us become the ultimate FR DM and PC resource. Even if you don't know anything about wikis, we can help you learn.
Might I suggest:
http://www.nzcomputers.net/heroforge/
This has downloads to run a character generator that you can even override. It has tons of books included for options. Once you get the hang of it, you can create a character in no time flat. It runs with Excel. There is a character generator - Heroforge, Spell list generator - Spellforge, and a gestalt beta version that works really well also - Gestalt/Epic HF Beta 6.
